AGM batteries

• Charging with a vehicle: (even while towing) a DC to DC charger is recommended to prevent damage to your vehicle's alternator due to LifePO4's ability to charge so quickly. New vehicles with "Smart" alternators may not need this.
• Shore power charging: You may desire an upgraded DC converter as your trailer's current DC converter may only charge the battery to 50-60%. (LifePO4 at low charge has the same voltage as traditional batteries at full charge). The solar charger will continue to fully charge the battery though.
